How can a blog grow your business?

A blog is not just a tool for self-expression, but a very effective way to market your business.  It’s the most cost-effective way to attract customers who are searching online for exactly the products or services you provide.

Why?

1. Google it

Yes. You want to be online and you want to be found by people. Most of us use Google to find a service, product or information they need. Google search is all about content. So if you have more good content (related to your services or products) on your site, it is more likely Google and your customer will find you. So you have to make effort to learn how to write good content. It is not that hard, you can do it, even if you are not a writer type.

2. Build trust

When you are sharing stories, giving advice or teaching people to do things that make them happy, you connect with your customers and establish trust and loyalty. In the old days, you had to do it personally. Your charming personality win over the people and the word of mouth did the marketing. But the internet has changed the world and now you can offer services without meeting your customer personally! So you have to build trust in other ways, like sharing your stories, so that people get to know you better.
