Why do you need a website?
Let’s define first, why you need a website in the first place.
Your website is often an important way to create a powerful first impression. It is a way to communicate your message to those you want to help. Most importantly it should be a tool that will help you to connect with your audience.
So why do you need a website?
Here are some ideas:
- You want to start a blog to share your creations, writings, photographs, experiences and expertise. You have a deep desire to express yourself, but you are unsure how you could have a business from your passion.
- You have a business, and you need a place where people can find more info about you. When you are just starting out, often your work is based on referrals and it is a good start indeed. You are still refining your services and message. The main purpose of your website is to have a place where you can introduce yourself and in this case, you need a brochure website.
- You need a bigger audience and more income. If this is your goal, it is not enough to have a website or a blog. You will need to do the marketing. A beautiful website on its own will not get you new clients, although it is a good start.
