If you like your porridge in the morning you will want to try this. Leave your rolled oats in water for overnight, it will be ready to eat in the morning, without cooking! It has some advantages to cooked oats, like easier to digest, they are higher in resistant starch (resistant starch can help decrease insulin levels), they save your time and they taste good!
I like to put it in my fruit smoothie in the morning, so try it with this recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 4-5 strawberries
- 1 tsp chia seed
- 1 tsp psyllium husk
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 cup overnight oats
- 3 dl water
Mix it in a blender.
